Introduction
Definition of Present Indefinite Tense
The Present Indefinite Tense, also called the Simple Present Tense, is used to describe habitual actions, general truths, facts, routines, permanent situations, and scheduled events. It also expresses thoughts, feelings, opinions, and states that are true at the present time.
Present Indefinite Tense की क्रिया से यह बोध होता है कि कार्य वर्तमान काल में समान्यतया होता है ।
प्रयोग मुख्यतः कर्ता के स्वभाव , आदत को व्यक्त करने के लिए होता है ।
इसका प्रयोग चिरंतन सत्य , सिद्धांत , स्थाई कार्य इत्यादि को व्यक्त करने के लिए होता है
इसके अलावा कुछ अन्य परिस्थितियों भी होता है
जिसे : भविष्य में होने वाले कुछ कार्यकर्म / निर्णय / शर्त का भाव व्यक्त करने के लिए भी होता है ।
ध्यान दें :
इस Tense से यह बोध नहीं होता , अभीष्ट कार्य अभी हो रहा है , ऐसे Present Imperfect Tense द्वारा व्यक्त होता है ।
Present Indefinite Tense यह भाव व्यक्त करता है कि ऐसा होता है ( न की हो रहा है )
बिल्ली मांस खाती है The Cat eats meat. (बिल्ली मांस खाती है ) इस वाक्य की क्रिया Present Indefinite में है इससे बोध होता है कि बिल्ली का स्वभाव हैं मांस खाने का । अर्थात वो मांस खाया करती है । इससे ये अभिप्राय नहीं कि कोई खास बिल्ली अभी मांस खा रही है ।
Affirmative Sentences
जिस मुख क्रिया के साथ ता हूँ , ती हूँ ,ते हैं , ती हो, ते हो , ती है का प्रयोग हो ।
बिना खेलती है ।
श्याम घूमता है ।

3rd Person Singular Subject में मुख्य क्रिया के साथ “ S /ES प्रयोग होगा ।
मुख्य क्रिया के साथ “es” कब लगाएं ।
