What is the Past Perfect Tense ???

Past Perfect Tense – Definition

The Past Perfect Tense is used to describe an action that was completed before another action or a specific point in the past. It shows which of two past events happened first.

Definition:

The Past Perfect Tense expresses an action that had already been completed before another action or time in the past.

Structure

Subject + had + past participle (V3) + object

Examples

She had finished her homework before her mother came home.
They had left the station before the train arrived.
I had never seen such a beautiful sunset before that day.
We had completed the project before the deadline.
He had gone to bed before I called him.

1^st Person Singular Number और Plural Number के साथ “ Have “
